Miami is pleased to make available traditional residence hall housing for students and families participating in 2026 fall semester orientation.
Residence hall housing will be open for reservations -
May 26th through July 2nd 2026.
We welcome both students and families to utilize this housing option for your time on campus.
This online reservation system is similar to creating a hotel reservation. The information provided is not connected to your Orientation Programming registration.
Traditional Residence Hall Room: $96.75 per room (plus tax)
Each Residence Hall room includes:
Traditional residence hall style rooming option with two (2) twin XL beds. Equipped with bed linens, pillow, a light blanket and towels.
Mini fridge included in each room.
Air-conditioned and accessible. Community/corridor restroom and shower facilities with a single use ADA bathroom available on each floor of the residence hall.
Important Orientation Housing FAQ's
Much like making a hotel reservation, you are reserving the full room. We will not assign roommates to your room.
Residence housing will be a mix of Orientation programming student participants and their families.
For the best experience, please understand that this type of housing is not comparable to a standard hotel and may not suit all travelers.
Expect a Student Environment: These rooms are appointed for student life, not as a hotel. You can anticipate a basic, clean, and functional space.
Bed Height: Please be aware that the beds are elevated 40 inches from the floor, which can be difficult for some guests to navigate.
Orientation housing is purchased with a credit card and will not be billed to the student's bursar account.
All reservations are charged a non-refundable 10% administration fee.
Adjustments/Cancellations to your reservation can be made up 24 hours before your check in date. Cancellations submitted prior by 5pm the day prior to reservation check in will be processed a refund (less 10% administration fee) for the cost of the room(s).
All cancellations after 5pm the day prior to the day of reservation check in are non-refundable.
